Hudson Society of Artists sponsors three member’s only shows a year.
The Annual Holiday Art Show is usually held at Laurel Lake Community Retirement Center in December. HSA members in good standing may submit original art to sell. A perfect opportunity for people to purchase art for gift giving. The exhibit is free and open to the public.
The Members Show, held in late winter or early spring, is an annual competition held at a predesignated site in the community where HSA members in good standing may submit pieces of art for this juried competition. Cash prizes are awarded for Best of Show, First, Second, and Third Place along with six merit awards. An artist reception is held where refreshments are served and awards are presented.
The Clothesline Art Show is an annual exhibit and sale of small, unframed, original artwork by HAS members. This sale is held during the Hudson Home and Garden Tour, held the second weekend in June. HSA artwork is displayed next to “The Garden Shop” at the Hudson Middle School Commons, 77 N. Oviatt Street., Hudson, OH.
